Audio editing program

Sep 19, 2008 8:23AM PDT

I video taped my son wedding last weekend and it was performed outside in the city. I have city background noise (i.e. cars, trucks, horns) on the video of the camera I was carrying. Also noise (i.e. dish and glass rattles and voices from inside the room) on a stationery camera which was setup near where the reception area.

Is there a audio editing programs available on the market that will let me remove the noises and keep the spoken words of the minister and the bride and groom.

I have a Window XP Media Center and this will be only my second try at editing video.

Any help or knowledge would be appreciated.
