any ideas? I noticed Samsung_Hd_Tech already seemed to make his rounds and I wanted to be sure this didn't get lost on the 2nd page.
Aside from the questions in the original post, does anyone know if there's a firmware update being planned soon? Maybe it will fix the problem...?
I'm experiencing an audio drop out problem that seems to be documented in other online forums, but I'm hoping the expertise at CNET and Samsung agents here can help me.
I just purchased a BD-P1500 last week, and updated with the latest firmware. I'm having problems with audio drop outs occurring randomly. They last about 1-2 seconds, and occur approx every 20-40 min (not repeatable when I rewind). I'm connected via HDMI and audio is played through the tv speakers, not through any receiver.
I've tried turning off Anynet, resetting the player, all with no luck. I've only tried 3 discs, one Blu ray, and two dvd's, with the problem repeatable on the dvd's.
Any ideas? I don't have a particularly complicated setup, and most others' problems are solvable by a firmware update, but I already have the latest firmware. What can I possibly do, other of returning it and hoping the next unit on the shelves is problem-free (already tried that game with a different model, and didn't work)
