Audio drivers not available for windows 8 ?

Recently i installed windows 8 on my lenovo y410 laptop
On the lenovo downloads driver for windows 7 is available
which doesnt get installed on windows 8. Due to which i am unable to hear the sound on my laptop?
Can u suggest something to solve this issue ?

(NT) I solved it by going back to the factory supplied OS.

Blush I tried installing drivers available for windows XP and it worked Cool
Now i am able to hear sound from my Laptop Laugh

Try the Windows 7 driver

Windows 8 is almost all Windows 7 under the covers in spite of the fact that it has a totally different user interface. So give the Windows 7 driver a shot. If it doesn't work, try installing it in compatibility mode. You might also want to consider Start8 or Classic Start to give yourself a Start button and the look and feel of earlier versions of Windows.
