This is a recent issue. I thought it was my new monitor or my headset but it's not. When I open another program that uses my audio all my sound cuts out and I have to restart what program I was using. Two things can not run at the same time if I want to hear anything. For example I do game streaming with OBS and I play counter-strike. I will go to load my game and then click start streaming in my OBS and the sound completely goes out. I tried another streaming program and it still does it. I thought the sound was fixed when I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. It was fine for a couple days then the problem came back. It's very bizarre. I've contacted Microsoft and they give me the stupidest solutions. "Did you try unplugging your speakers and plugging them back in?" I feel like I've tried all the basic stuff. I have a custom build pretty much. My system as is followed: Windows 10; CPU:Intel® Core™ i7-2600 CPU; Video Card: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 750 Ti Superclocked, ; CPU Coolor: Hydro Series™ H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler; Ram: Vengeance® Low Profile Blue 16gb; PSU RM Series™ RM650.
I'm losing my mind on this. I've tried wiping my SSD and starting over and that doesn't work. I've done a system restore and it doesn't work. I don't trust leaving my computer at a repair shop.
