Question

audio conversion freeware

Oct 6, 2011 10:39AM PDT

I have some sound tracks that I recorded on my home studio at a sample size of 24 bit, to get the best quality. I am now trying to use them in microsoft movie maker, but they won't play. Other wave files of lesser sample size will play. Any good freeware that will convert this? I am not that tech savvy, but I think this is the problem. The tracks were recorded with ableton live. Any suggestions. Running XP pro with lots of memmory.

Audacity is, in my opinion, the best free audio editor. I use it to create ringtones, clean up audio files, and to convert audio from one format to another. Link to Audacity download here. Hope this helps you out.
