If your Napster files have DRM control, that may be proper.
Try a CD next.

I'm one of the lucky few morons who purchased an iPod with a Napster account...
After doing extensive research I came across Audacity/LAME, but I don't know how to actually export the files from WMA to MP3. When I try I just get static as the new MP3 file. What am I doing wrong? Also will there be a reduction in sound quality when I convert the file types?
