Attention SE forum members, please read.

Hi all,

Lately, OK scratch that, for many months on, I?ve been seeing way too many personal attacks, baiting, swipes, snide remarks, etc...

I know there?s a long history here at SE and many events over the years have led to the division of some of you into two groups or maybe even three, but I?m not keeping track. Now I?m not here to tell you folks who don?t get along to kiss and make up and forget all that happened in the past, and I?m not asking you all to get along, because I?ve tried in the past--and I simply know it will never happen between some of you.

What I am here to tell you folks, especially the ones who are constantly at each other?s throats, or taking every opportunity to take pot shots and personal swipes at one another, to give it a damn rest. It?s tiring and it?s getting old. You can make up excuses of who started it, you can point your fingers all day long, but I don?t want to hear it because it takes two to tango and if you don't like the tango, I suggest you step off the dance floor.

Obviously these forums and the company that surrounds you here at SE means something to you folks or else many of you would?ve taken a hike a long time ago. You?ve all been familiar faces to me and you are what makes up this unique forum and our community. And if you like to stick around for each other?s company I would highly recommend that you shape up now or walk away. The last thing I want to be is an ass and have to ban any of you. I don?t take pleasure in doing this, but when things continue to get out of hand, something has to be done.

From here on out, starting today, any baiting/swipes at each or any remarks that resemble a personal attack to invoke/promote a fight will not be tolerated. And continued behavior as such will result in a suspension of their account without any further warning. I don?t need any opinions on who should get banned as that will be determined by me and the SE mods, so leave your 2 cents worth at the door and just report the offense and it will be ultimately decided by us.

Some of you are already riding on thin ice, so don?t be surprised if you come back one day and you are no longer welcomed in these forums. Don?t say I didn?t warn you, because this is the final warning and if you refuse to read it, that?s just too bad. I hate to have come to this, but the report offensive post is tired, the mods need a vacation, and I want the community forums to be a better place. I know it?s too late for a New Year?s resolution, but how about a turning over a new leaf for spring? If you can?t walk away from a fight or taunt, then this place will no longer be your stomping grounds. So keep cool and go out and buy or grow a thicker skin if you have to. Your future here is now in your own hands, so before you post something, think about it before you click submit.

Thanks for your time.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
