Attachments opening slowly in Outlook.

by ghydias / January 5, 2005 12:05 PM PST

Subject says most of it. When I open an image attachment in outlook, it opens slowly most of the time, occationally it will open quicker. I can usually open about 3 images, then the opening process will freeze for a few seconds longer.

a slow internet connection, (eg 56K modem dial-up), or if the images are large files, they will take longer to download.

How do you connect to the internet, dial-up, DSL, or cable?

What are the sizes of these images?

I think it's something else...

because I have DSL, the messages I believe are already downloaded when I open the attachments because the opening usually follows a patern. Two will open fine, then the third will open slower. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the compunications between oulook and my image program or memory or something else.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
