in outlook express, go to Tools|Options and then click on the Security tab. uncheck the box labeled Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus and click OK
I cannot receive or send attachments. I always get this message
''OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments.''
Last week the central office tried to send attachments and I kept getting the same message. All of their mail is scanned with Bit Defender so I know it is safe. Today, I tried to send pictures to my son and could not because of the same message. I had just scanned the computer with AntiVir Personal. No viruses. Also, I always unplug my modem when I am not on the internet.
I am not computer savy so I am turning to you for your expert help.
I run AntiVir Personal on my computer as well as Spybot, Adaware and Zone Alarm. All of these programs were recommended by Dell except for the AntiVir which was recommended by one of their technicians as well as CNet.
Please help. Jen
