Correct Pete. I have two XP Pro installations but on two disks, C:/ and E:/.

About BOOT.INI. With what great responses I see, the discussion looks under control. BOOT.INI, when typed into google.com tells all.

What should be added is the RECOVERY CONSOLE, the BOOTCFG command and what it does.

I just went to respond to your second one today and the e-mail button is gone. It was there earlier so unless YOU turned it off, you either reached the limit you set yourself or CNET's software is acting up which seems to be a common problem LOL.
