ATI TV Wonder USB

I know ATI should be able to provide the answer, but...when I install TV Wonder USB, my system locks up. No keyboard or trackball (both USB). XP Pro (all updates), recent ATI drivers. I'm about to give it up and something else. (see post on Avermedia).
