ATI RADEON 9250 128MB Video Card into what slot?

by Joseph_Leahy / November 30, 2004 4:52 AM PST

I recently purchased a ATI RADEON 9250 128MB 128 MB VIDEO CARD. The instructions call for installation into an AGP slot, but I only have PCI slots on my Dell Dimension L866R. It does not appear that I have an appropriate slot for the card, unless I'm incorrect. Any ideas which will allow me to use this card in my computer? I'd appreciate any help you could offer.

Thanks,

Joe Leahy

You'll have to go get a PCI video card. Not all PCs have AGP slots.

Joe: You have a PCI Card, and it's not a 128mb video card it's a 256mb mid level. Look on pg.10 Advanced Installtion: PCIe. It was confussing to me at first too. I hope your's installed, Mine wo'nt I had 2 other techies try to install and no luck so it's going back. I just might get the 128mb just to see if that will work. Good Luck
