ATI HDTV Wonder, Fun and games

Ok, I bought one these cards on sale at Micro Center for $99
and have been playing around with it for several weeks.
I also OEM version of XP MMC 2005 to run it on my AMD 64 3200+ with an ATI 9600 video card. I have also been on this forum, good info but the BBS style is hard to follow
compaird the the dircetory style on c-net forums.

I did a search and there is not alot of info in this forum so I thought I would get some going.

XP MMC 05. This installed with no problems, got updates, video card updates, then went on the the HDTV card updates and installed, problems unable to start HDTV, clicked on the test system button, many strange results from this, conflicting results. Error! DriectX not installed but it is. Error! video card not a Radeon
then reporting my 9600 card, etc. Renistalled all the
software and it would work untill I rebooted. Then I would have to reinstall the software again.
So I took out the card and put it in a XP-SP2 PC and istalled the software and got the updates from ATI
and it is working good. And will work after a reboot!

Well when you try the newest thing you put your self on the bleeding edge. I was wondering if anyone else has had any succes or not with this card? John
