craigsolis,
Welcome to the forum.
I suggest running the audio from the DVR directly into the HTIB via optical. The picture could run via HDMI directly into the television, but the 5.1 (where available!) audio you want decoded would be best run directly into the Z510.
Keep me posted!

I can?t seem to get my at&t U-verse DVR (Motorola VIP1216), Samsung LN52A650 TV and Samsung HT-Z510 home theater (HT) to work correctly. Currently, I have an HDMI cable connected from the HDMI OUT on the HT to HDMI3 on the TV, an HDMI cable connected from the DVR HDMI port to HDMI2 on the TV and an optical audio cable from the HT to the TV. The center channel seems to be correct, but all of the other speakers are muffled.
I'm thinking about moving the audio cable from the DVR to the HT.
Any ideas?
