At least I feel a little better today.............

by Tony Holmes / February 2, 2006 8:39 AM PST

after starting treatment for full lower dental implants at the dentist and being sore as heck.

Got a call from Verizon wanting to know when I wanted my fios install done! They're sending two techs on Tues am for what will be an almost all day afair at no cost to me which includes:
Fiber optic cable-pole to house.
Remove the old nid and install an optical network terminal.
Complete battery back up system.(location of which is my choice)
New D-link router.
Replace interior wiring if needed.
Migrate all services to the fios network.

5 megs down for 29.95 per month for first 12 mos,34.95 thereafter which is what dsl costs me now.
Later,Tony

... take Aleve. It will really help! Oh, and you probably don't have to watch your weight, but rumor has it ice cream is calorie free after dental work Grin

Glad to hear about the FiOS deal. Hope you don't get burned after a year. Let's hope the competition amongst services keeps costs down in the future!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
