Question

Asus Zenbook Internet Issues

May 4, 2015 12:51PM PDT

Hey I'm hoping someone has some idea of what's going on with my new laptop.

I just purchased a Asus UX350FA laptop with 8.1 on it about a month ago and I did have any problems with it until about a week ago. I got it and didnt really do any updates to it except for attempting the microsoft updates (which stalled at the very end and I had to do a hard reset to fix it).

I had no issues connected to my wireless network until about a week ago then it wouldnt connect. I looked online (from my phone) for a resolution to my problem and saw that a bunch of people suggested updating the BIOS. I did this and updated to the most recent BIOS from the Asus website.

After the update I can connect to my network with no problem, but it seems like at some point my internet is really slow, or my computer cant keep up with my web browsing (which was never an issue before updating the BIOS)...

Anyone have any ideas?

I really appreciate the help, btw.

Why not restore it to the way it was " out of the box " ?
