Some GL552VW-DH71 but his touchpad doesn't work because the mouse is plugged in.

There's also some Fn key to turn it on and off which is NOT A DRIVER but some Asus app. He's not here today so you need to not only have the OS and drivers but some Asus app installed and working.

That link was spammed here and is not Asus. I've removed it from your post as no one can vet if it's free from trojans.

Sry...didn't mean that.

the fn+f9 doesn't work for me.
anyway, the drivers that i installed are: "Smart Gesture 4.0.12" and ATK package 1.0.0043

And these must be from Asus.

We had a spat of fake driver posts and we hope we nailed them all but this one was in that lot. Let's hope it was free from infections.

OK, ATK is the hotkey package so that's done. Smart Gesture would be that but not a pad driver (I could be wrong.)

Get back to asus.com for your model for a pad driver. I take it you have the motherboard chipset and other drivers if need be. Remember I don't own your model but have installed Windows since 1.0 too many times.

OK

FROM ASUS SITE: "ASUS Smart Gesture (Touchpad Driver) [Please update ATK Package V1.0.0020 or later in advance]"

Then we're left with obvious.

The pad is dead or unplugged. For me I test such things with Live Linux Bootable USB sticks. Today I have at my desk my old favorite of Linux Mint and TAILS on USB. If you want to try a smaller distro try Puppy Linux on USB or what have you.

We are not installing or learning Linux. We only boot it to sniff out hardware issues.

NEW LAST IDEA. Did you check BIOS settings? I have once in a while found such things disabled there.

Also, some "mouse" drivers can trample the pad software. I only know what you tell here.

I'll check it.
