I re-connected the battery cable back inside the logic board before closing the back cover. There is no charge.

Then you will need to disassemble again and find out what you missed doing. I recently replaced an LCD on my Kodak V803 which was cracked, got replacement from China (took a month!) and all I had to do was replace the cable to the LCD and reattach the back and very very small screws and all was well, so it can be done.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
