WiFi is subject to interferrence and more. No one today seems to want to hold a class on WiFi today in forums. Even I must keep it short as there is an audience of one.
There are fine tutorials and videos about mapping out WiFi areas. Your work proves it again.
I have an ASUS rt-ac68u hooked to Comcast cable modem netgear cm500 and I'm signed up for 250 down and 30 up. I have widely variable speeds tested on speedtest.net. Mostly I want to know why does my download speed vary with wifi signal strength but my upload speed seems not to vary? Near the router I get 250/30 but in othe rooms in my house I might get 125-150/30. Outside in my yard I get 25-50/30. Why is the upload speed not fading with the download speed? Is it because I need to have a weak enough signal for the download speed to be below 30 before I see the upload speed start to fall from 30? Thanks all.
