Resolved Question

Asus Q524UQ-BBI

I bought my computer yesterday and loved it until this morning. Went to turn it on and the screen is black. I know it's on the lights are on but doesn't sound as if it's booting up. What do I do I transferred all my work onto it yesterday and now can't get damn thing to turn on

Re: doesn't turn on

Back to the shop for a warranty repair. Don't open it yourself, since that might void the warranty.
I assume you still have a recent copy of your work on your old machine or a backup of it, and made a backup of what you changed yesterday. No work lost then.

A nice thing about repairs is that they don't guarantee you get your hard disk back as it was. Maybe they replace it, maybe they format it again. So it's quite well possible you won't get back the data you transferred to it. That's why I referenced your own backup above.
