asus p5lp-LE

hello i have an hp pavilion and an asus p5lp-le lithium motherboard, but my cpu is rubbish. my computer supports pentium d and pentium 4 prescott can i i upgrade o core 2 duo hp say i cant but some one said they may jsut be telling me that so i dont upgrade. i cant find the board on asus website nay ideas.

There is no support because it's not sold to end consumers. That's how you can make something cheap. Make it an OEM only part.

I see it takes the dual core Pentium D. Good luck with that.
