Asus or HP All-in-one Touch Screen PC

I am looking to invest in an All-in-One Touch screen PC. Unless someone has other suggestions, I found the HP Touchsmart and Asus ET Series to be popular. I am willing to spend up to 1200, but would like to stick to less than a grand. I really am looking for a computer with good performance and overall functionality. I am a college grad student and am pretty tech savvy.

Keep in mind, repairs tend to be very high on these.

Unlike normal desktops, the bills rival that of laptops.

And if you are following the users then how is that touch screen working for them?
