Asus mobo setup ??

Oct 5, 2010 12:02PM PDT

Hello.
I just put together an asus m4a87td evo mobo and a phenom 6 chip.
When i fired it up, it cutoff just like a short would do.
I unplugged everything and when fired up it would kick off.
I then took the mobo out and put insulation bubble wrap underneath the mobo reconnect the power and when fired up it did the same thing, would kick off immediately.
Any suggestions ?
Thanx

Call the suppliers and ask what to send back. However if you selected your own combination of parts, ask them to see if any part was a miss. I find overtaxed power supplies daily.
