ASUS M-board ID

Nov 30, 2003 6:45AM PST

I am unable to find a definitive answer as to the difference between the:
A7N8X Deluxe Rev. 2.0 (and the)
A7N8X-E Deluxe

(Do they Both use the nVida2 Ultra400 chipset?)

Does anybody in here happen to know?
Thanks for the help

Not a good idea to buy either.

If your supplier doesn't answer this question, they don't deserve a dime from you.

Goto to each's spec page and printout that out. Compare the two and it should be apparent. In most cases of very similar mtrbds. the "connections" many vary or allow a wider range plus have the latest ingrained support, especially true for later releases. Like one maybe RAID ready and the other not, or one supports SATA, while the other doesn't. A smaller difference is ram support maybe 3-slots vs. 4-slots or accepts PCxxx vs PCyyy, etc.. Thanks for the reply Willy,

I've done lot's of searching/comparing before I posted.
The "Wi-Fi" is the only thing I could find that was definitive.
They Both have RAID - SATA - 3DIMM slots, etc.

I was hoping someone that works a lot with boards would see the post and be able to answer.

The "E" has got to be a designator for something I figure.
I've just been unable to find it.
