ASUS laptop question

Aug 29, 2010 4:05AM PDT

ASUS K52 Series K52JC-X2 NoteBook Intel Core i5 450M(2.40GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 310M

Is there big problems about this product? One review said that it woudn't connect to the internet, while all the other didn't have this problem. When I googled it, I only saw problems with the EEE PCs from Asus, but not any others. Thanks!

I like machines with those specs. The i7's are nice but I think for the time being those are fine desktop replacements.

The 310m is barely gamer acceptable but will play stuff but again your gamers will want a little better.

As to the internet issue, just sit in any wifi zone and without fail someone is looking for help to get connected. I would not read anything into that.

But

It's not a gaming laptop, but a laptop for school.

Then why the 310M?

Unless it has switchable graphics you are paying for 3D gaming (albeit on the low end) lower battery times and IMO short life span over simple integrated video solutions.
