Batteries for 99% are 300 cycle rated. So if you use the battery daily it can wear out in one year. At the office we get about 4 years on laptops that sit on the desk under power.
I saw a lot of topics here about the same problem, but nothing works. I tried some suggestions I saw here, but i still have the same problem. It says either ''plugged in, not charging'', or ''0%, calculating''.
I saw one thing i didn't try, to go to BIOS and change the settings. I don't know if that would be smart, since I never did anything BIOS-related, and my friend who i good with computers said he will help me however he can, but he won't touch my BIOS since it's risky business. So my question is, is it smart to touch BIOS or is there something else I can try?
I tried taking out battery and power thing, but still nothing. After that the battery light stopped blinking and it's just still and orange, but still the battery is not charging. Is the battery maybe broken?
