You have to get our your Volt meter to see if the charger has output. Then you open it up to read the internal battery voltages. If you can't do this then you arrange for a tech to get into the laptop to check it out but this model appears to have shipped in January 2019.
This means it is likely to be in warranty which means you do NOTHING but call it in and let them fix it in warranty. Opening it could void the free warranty and repair.
My ASUS laptop (model: UX562FA) is not very old and was working just fine last night, but this afternoon when I tried to use it, it wasn’t turning on and it’s completely unresponsive. I plugged the charger in and there are no lights on the side. I’ve tried unplugging/plugging, trying different power outlets, and holding down the power button but nothing is working. I don’t recall ever doing anything damaging to the laptop that would cause it to stop working. Is there a fix for this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
