Before I start I'll give out some special.
Asus laptop:
Model F555Y
Windows 10
Intergrated battery (don't have access to take it out)
OK. So I think the best way to do this is to explain exactly what happens because this isn't a simple "won't turn on" scenario.
I was using the laptop completely fine before I turned it into hibernation mode however when I put it into hibernation this time the fan kept going and it was keeping me awake so I forced a shut down by holding the power button down for 3 seconds.
At the moment it is shut down.
When it is powered it starts up like normal.
It shows the Asus logo, it loads, it gets up the login screen and everything.
I should mention that at this point, the hard drive led was on, however the screen led wasn't even thought the screen was clearly working. I also have it on charge and the charging light also isn't on.
So after logging in it begins to load up everything else.
I'm met with a black screen where I can still move my mouse around which I'm fairly certain is just part of the loading process however after that screen, my screen turns off, all LEDs turn off as well and it basically acts like it had been shut down. However I can still clearly here the fan as well as the hard drive working.
I Havnt seen a single post on any website with the same problem as mine and anything close to this problem is always told to turn off the laptop, disconnect the battery and drain the power to reset it. But I can't do that to my laptop because the battery is Intergrated and to be honest I dont think that would fix this specific problem.
I would be so happy if anyone knew how to fix this even if only for a short amount of time to get my files onto a usb
