Resolved Question

ASUS K25J won't start after forced shutdown

Mar 5, 2012 1:10PM PST

I was playing Battlefield 3 on my ASUS K52J and while playing, I managed to freeze the game. I was playing in windowed mode, and when I tried to minimize the game, nothing happened. It had frozen my whole computer. Nothing, not even CTRL-ALT-DEL or CTRL-SHIFT-ESC could garner a response. Having no choice left, I held down the power button for 5 seconds, forcing shutdown, and waited a moment. When I tried turning it back on, the power button light flashed once, and nothing happened. At first I thought it was just overheated, so I waited about ten minutes. But when I came back, it was just plain dead. Nothing happens when I turn it on, or do anything to it. Any ideas, suggestions?

Also, I noticed that the battery light stays on even when not plugged in. Don't know if that might be somehow related.
