Since it's only a couple of months old, it's a clear warranty case. Back to the shop and let them fix it without any costs. Or directly contact Asus, if the warranty says to do so.
If you don't have an on site service contract, they might have to send it to some central tech place, and that can mean it will take a few weeks.
My laptop shut off yesterday when I checked it a couple hours after I had closed the lid while it was on battery. I then plugged it back in, the battery light lit up orange, and it eventually started up. I had the same problem today, but when I plugged it in, the green battery light lit up green and the laptop wouldn't turn on at all. Other than the green light, it shows no signs of life. I tried doing a hard reset where I unplug the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button several times, but it hasn't worked. The laptop is only a couple months old, and I haven't dropped it or anything, so I don't know what could be causing the issue. Help?
P.S. before this happened yesterday, earlier, I had reset the computer because the screen was flickering in rainbow colours.
