ASUS IS purposely breaking video cards and MB instead of holding up their warranty agreement and Blaming USPSfor the damage!! I bought a ASUS GTX 760 NVIDIA video card and it was only running at half GPU clock speed but running none the less instead of returning to the vender for refund I thought hey this should be easy fixed or return under the supposed great warranty and customer experience Asus always boosts about but in reality they are scam artist dont support this company untill they get there business right and stop abusing there customers..
I sent (2) motherboards in for service. The boards were returned to me without being repaired. I sent them back, and now they claim one board is physically damaged, and they refuse to service it. They want me to give them my credit card info so they can charge me $90 for a replacement for a board they had damaged. The other board they have not repaired either, they continue to claim that it is in their repair shop.
Another problem is that the mobo specs state that the northbridge and southbridge chipsets are SiS, however the SiS website employs a validation software, and reports that the northbridge chipset is not SiS. Perhaps Asus is also engaged in fraud.
I'm going to report Asus to the BBB and any other website complaint boards. These websites are consumers only resource to learn about business who conduct themselves in unethical manner. If you need your computer equipment, I advise you to stay away from Asus products
