Asus DGX Sound Card Mic low imput Help!

Hello,
I recently installed my new ASUS DGX sound card and everything works fine except for the mic. The mic I am using is the built in microphone on my beats tours earbuds. I kno it is not a problem with the mic because it has the same problem with others. The problem is I cant get it to record my voice unless I scream at the top of my lungs, and I have all of the recording settings on high. I have tried everything and I am wondering if anyone has an idea that I could try?
