I see this model comes with Windows 8.1 so I would be guessing if you know all the hops and tricks needed to get Windows 7 on today's gear.
Why not try 8.1 and install Classic Shell if the Metro is a turn off?

Hope some of you can help. I have bought 2 identical "ASUS" desktops at Staples (FL.) within about 10 days. I had to return the 1st for a refund. 2nd doing the same: won't load Win.7, & won't run. ASUS 24/7 staff (outsourced) can't help. 3 different ASUS techs unable to get it to work...spent several hours on the phone between the 2 desktops. Both end up with a multi-colored blue background with "ASUS" logo and a white box in the center of the screen that allows the operator to change sound, keyboard strikes, contrast, etc. but (both) don't allow movement to another screen; the lower-right "Next" box is inactive. Using F2, F9, or the delete key in conjunction with the power button move to a different set-up screen, but invariably leads back to the dead-end (stated above). Seems like faulty software- maybe just the M32AD-R14 model. Seems like there should be a solution available.
