At 2 years, my advice is to never repair a laptop unless it's something minor. That service company is noted at and tells me they are the usual fix everything sort of company.

The problem you get with such supersized repair centers is that many customers get less than happy interactions.

But back to the keyboard. On most laptops a keyboard is a Do It Yourself repair. Once you get the keyboard, about 10 minutes to swap out.

-> On top of all this, the water damage means that I would not repair the unit. The issues I've seen when the laptop took even a little water is such that I would not advise repair.
