A friend was having no luck with e-mail support. I said "So pick up the phone and call them." While he resisted at first, the call was made and he got his problem resolved.
Just one of many times I've offered this suggestion and with this move by ASUS, will not be the last.

JUNK MAIL and viruses have led major mobo maker Asus to suspend email support and service enquiries.
One wonders that if a major power in the industry like Asustek has given up the ghost on email, what hope is there for smaller minnows in the IT pond, never mind the poor bloody end user.
