sword mounts and pins and jewellery discovered. The result of the Staffordshire land owner using a new plough which dug about 8 inches into the soil and scraped and slashed through the collection spreading it all over the field. There are few workers of metal or jewelry or enamel to equal the Anglo Saxons, and this is an extraordinary collection of some 1500 pieces. There'll be lots of new discoveries around this find.
