HI there, Is anybody running win7 on ASRock-VSTA AGP version?

Here's a nugget. For ATI cards you can't use the first driver you find. You have to look around for the HOTFIX or AGP drivers. These are not supported but ATI seems to be publishing them with a "don't ask us for support" note.

Hi Bob, thanks for your comment. I have a Nvidia 6200 graphics card. On the Asus website there is some guidance how to update the driver but according to this guidance I would have to go into safe mode startup to disable driver signature approval, which is silly. I hope that this will not be an issue with win7.

Sorry but I'm in catch up mode about driver signing. In Windows 7 64 bit I don't remember if MSFT relented on "only signed drivers." If you are in the 32 bit versions it's not a problem but may need an OK, or disable like before.

Let's hope others fill in this knowledge hole.
