But first, did you start with the restore and the canned air work?
If this is your first laptop heatsink job, do it on a dead laptop first so you don't risk it on your good live laptop.

not done restore yet I am going to remove all the films and music and pictures to a portable hd first.
Why are there so mant screws in it, any problem with a tower is so easy
