They will say yes or no. I guess it depends on your relationship. You need to consider their connection and what you intend to download. As long as you don't overload their system, be considerate of their needs.
I'm poor, have a crappy part-time job, earn minimum wage, rent-a-room with no internet. So I was wondering, why couldn't I just politely ask my neighbor if they could provide me with their wifi networks security key code? If I paid them in advance & from a monthly basis? Reason been, I don't want to commit myself to a contract with my ISP, cuz' I dunno how long I plan to live in the neighborhood where I rent-a-room. And I definitely don't want to pay the regular monthly basis charge to use my ISP's internet without a contract, cuz' it'd be more expensive. So my basic question is, has anyone else ever in this situation that I'm facing? What do you people think of I were to ask my neighbor if I could use their internet & get their security code key, if I paid them for it? I use a 2003 IMB Netvista 2.4Ghz 1024mb ram home desktop Windows XP Pro pc. My system uses a Linksys wmp600n pci wifi card to receive signals. And my Linksys wifi card has a d-link parabola wifi antenna attached to it.Would it be a good idea to ask my neighbor for their wifi network's encryption key?
