Which other forum?

When did it go blank, when you "Previewed" your post or when you hit the "Submit" button?

Were there any error messages? Usually a person who has not signed up for the CNET forums will be taken to a generic "Sign up for instant access to the forums" registration page if they click a Reply button on any post;
Example here.

If any non member clicks one of the "Create a new thread" buttons, they are taken to the same page.

You mention you have had to rejoin. What was your other signup name?

If you would stop using throw away emails for registering with CNET, then you would've check your email that notified you that you have been banned from our forums--10 or more reincarnations ago.

So since you are here I'm going to let you know officially that you are no longer welcome in CNET forums for the reason of being excessively disruptive to our forums.

Please do not recreate another account as they will be banned immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
