This must mean that you have more lives than your children - felines. lol
It's pretty clear that if I had to choose which of the three (him, Roberson or Gibson) to label as 'crazy as a bedbug' I'd go for Rooney without reservations.
Is Gibson crazy? I don't know. We're all a little bit crazy (or so claimed a Newsweek cover some months ago). Is Robertson crazy? I don't know.
OTOH, most of the reports I have heard from people who have actually seen the movie (and not all of the critics have!) suggest that it was very well done. I'm looking forward to seeing it sometime soon.
Andy Rooney is an acerbic fellow who makes his living being so, and does it so well.
Mel Gibson is, well, gorgeous.
My vote goes for Robertson. And not because he said God talked to him, but because I get the impression he thinks he can walk on water.

one sandwich short of a picnic if anybody ever was....
as for the gibson family, it's the old man (gibson Sr)who is the 'whacko'....
Disgusting.
I'm willing to give great leeway to Rooney for his use of parody on the issue. But it sure does demonstrate in a very direct way that religious Christian bashing REALLY is the last form of accepted bigotry. Still, I could for the most part have written the comments, moreso of Robertson than Gibson, as tic poking fun at the absurdity of notion that God specifically spoke to Pat about the upcoming election.
But in a subsequent Imus interview, he said he wouldn't go see the Passion because he didn't want to throw away $8.50 for a few laughs?! and he totally trounced O'Reilly. At least he admitted the only thing that would come of him appearing on Bill's show would be to make an utter fool of himself. It was not this man's finest moment IMO.
Me thinks he needs to listen to a little tape of himself and recognize that he has surpassed the cover of his schtick.

Hi, John.
Andy identifies himself as agnostic. I can just here him now: "Didja ever wonder if there really is a God?"
