This is exactly what SYSTEM RESTORE was made for.
Use it to go back.
In my never ending attempts to make my computer quicker and more nimble, I envariably screw something up! Looks like I did it again.....
I've been fiddling around with the "local services" tab under the Control Manager to try and load less things on boot up. Unfortunately, I turned off too many things and stuff stopped working properly! I had to go back and turn things on and now I think I've turned on almost everything! It takes almost 3 minutes to boot up and that's FAR LONGER than ever before.
Where can I find help in terms of what should load, what should be automatic vs. manual, started vs. stopped/disabled and get this back into fighting shape again? I promise I won't play with this section again!
Thank you very much....I'm getting older just waiting for my old buddy to boot up!
