Most programs do not thoroughly clean up after themselves, and it is nearly impossible to complete remove all traces as there is no comprehensive log of what files the program created/modified. However, such saved game files are usually located in either C:\ProgramData or C:\Users\<your Windows username>\AppData, both of which are hidden directories. Once there, though, look for a folder by the name of the game, name of the developer, etc. and either rename or delete it, depending on how sure you are you won't need/want any of its contents.
Hope this helps,
John
I have windows Vista.
For months I played a game from iwin called Around the World in 80 Days.
Then the problems started, the timer speeded up and the playing pieces were are jerky,so I uninstalled it(or thought I did)and purchased a disk of the same game but lo and behold after installation I found I was right back to level 69 on the iwin game I had uninstalled........no matter what I do it always goes back to the same spot in the same game.My question, how can I get everything from iwin out of my computer so I can install the disk and start out fresh from the disk and not go through iwin.
I Win is no help at all, they don't know what the problem is but I am hoping someone out there does know ![]()
