Armband for iaudio U2?

Feb 1, 2005 3:35AM PST

I've just ordered the iaudio U2 MP3 player, but now I need a secure way to carry it when running, etc. Any ideas, beyond "check the iaudio website"?

Thanks,
Paul

armband
Mar 12, 2005 5:33PM PST

I've got the I5 with the iaudio armband that's the same one as for the U2. It works very well. I'd recommend buying your player from suntecint.com and get the 1gb model and it comes with the free armband. That's what I did. I haven't used it too much however since I haven't gotten earbuds yet that stay in my ears...

I have no idea how this armband works...
Jun 15, 2005 2:35PM PDT

I bought the armband Sarah was looking at. Mine is from COWON America and I got it to go with the iAudio U2. The little player is sweet...FM radio, MP3 player, very light and compact, decent sound with clip on headphones (I bought these elsewhere.) But I can't figure out how to attach the U2 to the armband. I'm not kidding. Has anyone had success with this?
Thanks,
Christine

Armband mystery solved
Jun 15, 2005 3:03PM PDT

For those of you who may be as obtuse as I am, here is the solution to the armband mystery: there is a flat belt loop on the case of the U2. You need to attach the U2 to the armband via this belt loop. I didn't even realize there WAS a belt loop on the case until I read someone else's post. Thanks...

Great armband for iaudio U2
May 11, 2005 8:43AM PDT

After doing a lot of research to find one, I just got a great armband for the iaudio U2 online at eBay. It is listed under "ARMBAND Reflective Adjustable for Shuffle/Mini/iPod MP3". It is built for an iPod Shuffle (which is similar sized), but works great for the U2 also. Very secure (I wasn't sure if it was going to be) during running/working out. Also, has a great reflective strip on it, which helps if you are running at night. They also sell a custom fit version, but I would get the adjustable one.
