But then, I had few problems with Vista.

What do you think? Are Windows 7 better than Vista?
Should I get them or stick with Windows XP Pro?

First thing to do is run a compatability test, download it from $MS:

I would ask how old is your system, is it worth upgrading, or would you be better off putting the cost of upgrading to W7 towards a new system.
While I believe W7 is much better, if you have old hardware and software you may be disapointed to find some of these are not compatible.
You can compare versions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/compare. In the end it comes down to your computer and your preference.

Tara
I'll make it easy for you. The only question is whether to use Windows XP or Win7. There is no point to use Vista. I'm not saying this because Vista is a bad operating system. I say this for the simple fact that Windows 7 builds on Windows Vista.
Now that we have reduced it to 2 operating systems let's further take reduce it. The biggest factors are going to be:
1. Does your system meet the requirements for windows 7?
2. Are your programs compatible with Windows 7?
3. Is there something that you want in Windows 7 and is it worth the price to you?
All 3 operating systems are great each with there own benefits. You may want to speak with your local computer shop to find out what fits your needs.
