software, I find it very annoying!
I get my own profile, which is what's supposed to happen if the username cannot be found in the database. My guess would be the question mark in the username is throwing the vanity URL a winger.

This happened a while back on the old forums. You may be able to locate this. It only happened to the Moderators, not the other members.

and I am no moderator.
It happened with another post, which has been removed since, but I was getting my own profile when I clicked.
The poster's id was: huami?
I've reported this bug already folks... hopefully they can solve this issue or completely disallow special characters in username all together in the future.
Just to let you know that if there is something wrong with the username-- the system automatically defaults it to your profile page when you click on those malformed usernames.
Thanks everyone!
