Question

Are My Parts Compatible?

Mar 1, 2015 6:43AM PST

Hey.

I'm new to this site, and I was wondering if I could get some help with my computer. From what I've seen, it says my computer is compatible with all the parts I've chosen. But I wanted some help on here, to make sure they will work. Below are a list of parts that I will be getting:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1241 V3 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI Z97 Guard-Pro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
RAM: Kingston Fury Black Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Hard Drive 1: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Hard Drive 2: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card
Case: Deepcool TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 450W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Sony 5280S-CB-PLUS DVD/CD Writer
Other Parts: I will figure out later.
Just to give some perspective, I will be using the computer to record videos, play games, and render out edited videos. If you think there are better parts to suit the build, or if there are any parts that need to be exchanged, please tell me below. Also, I want to stay at least under $1,400

Thanks,

Jettster

especially if you want to 'figure out later'.

Re the RAM........I like GSkill and DIMMs with lower CLs and lots of good buyer ratings
