Question

Are Medion Laptops Good?

May 28, 2015 7:12PM PDT

I've found myself a laptop that I feel has some decent specs for the price. Here's the specifications list.

Intel Core i5-4210M processor, Windows 8.1, 1TB HDD, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 825M DirectX® graphics

The laptop is a Medion and my question is, are Medion laptops a viable option? The price of this particular laptop is £390

Medion is a German company, whose products here in The Netherlands are sold mainly (as a promotion) by the Aldi discount supermarkets. And indeed they are cheap then.

I bought a Medion monitor with then 10 years ago or so, and it still functions without any issues. But I would hesitate to buy a laptop in the same shop I buy pasta and chocolates. Be sure about the support, and what happens if it needs repair next year for some reason.
