Are iPhones Vulnerable to Viruses?

I'm a Windows user and have always had to be concerned about protecting my laptop against viruses. And an anti-virus program was a perpetual necessity.

Do I have to worry about getting viruses on my iPhone 4? Is the iPhone 4 vulnerable to hacking?
