Resolved Question

Are all of the audio outputs on LN40D630 LCD TV fixed?

Nov 28, 2012 1:19PM PST

Hi there, I'm trying to connected a set of (powered) 2.1 speakers to my LN40D630 LCD TV. I have attached them to the 3.5mm stereo audio out port, and they work fine. However, I want to control the volume of the external speakers using the TV remote control. This shouldn't be an issue, right? Since the sound output for 3.5mm jack should be variable, and my speakers are already powered?

Thanks!

Hi Jwied73,

I understand this may be frustrating. Everything is fixed line out. So you can't control it with your TV remote. Sorry.

It appears that this model has a fixed level. There are prior discussions why this is.
